Directors
Russell is one of the original founders of TNG Consulting Engineers established in May 1999. He became Managing Director in April 2009. Russ is a Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer with over 30 years’ experience of designing complex Building Services Engineering systems in all construction sectors.
Being one of the founders of the original partnership that was formed in May 1999, Ralph has more than 30 years Engineering Consultancy experience. Ralph’s expertise includes working within ‘live’ environments and estate support such as LV Distribution/Site Surveys, Site Record Drawing production and Infrastructure Studies.
Amanda is one of the company’s founder members and is our Director responsible for all day-to-day financial transactions and project/client accounts. She is also Company Secretary and manages all business administrative requirements.
Lisa has been part of the company since 1999. In 2008, Lisa was invited to join the Board of Directors and has since looked after HR, Health and Safety and all other compliance matters.
Tom is Technical Director at TNG and joined the Senior Management team in 2023. He is responsible for the internal delivery of projects and oversees the Mechanical, Electrical and CAD teams. Working closely with our Quality Manager, Tom ensures that delivery is in full, in spec and always on time.
Mark brings over 30 years experience in the Building Services industry in both consultancy and contracting roles. As Director of Projects, Mark focuses on managing the Client experience, ensuring they receive exceptional service from TNG.
Mark brings over 30 years of experience in the Building Services industry. He has successfully tendered, secured, and managed numerous prestigious projects, including both pre-designed and Design and Build contracts. His responsibilities include the design and oversight of mechanical installations, from initial briefing stage through to final account and practical completion. As Director of Projects, Mark also focuses on managing the Client experience, ensuring they receive exceptional service from TNG.
Since joining TNG Consulting Engineers in 2011, Alex has gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University. He is also a Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) and will always offer sustainable and energy efficient advice and engineering solutions. Alex is the Mechanical Team Leader and oversees project delivery within the team.
Andrew is a Masters Degree qualified Principal Mechanical Engineer with more than 25 years engineering experience with consultancies and Design and Build contractors. He will manage projects from feasibility, through design, tendering and procurement, to completion. Andrew joined TNG in 2023 and has helped develop our project delivery processes.
Chris is a Degree qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in Building Services Engineering Design and Consultancy. He has extensive experience within highly complex engineering and construction scenarios which enables him to work comfortably in all sectors.
Craig has over 25 years’ experience of working in M&E Consultancies. Throughout his career, he has obtained a vast range of experience of project and Client requirements, and the construction industry. Craig has been a member of the TNG team since 2016 and has strong and diverse MEP technical knowledge across all sectors.
Kelvin is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at TNG with more than 20 years design experience. He has a portfolio of work that demonstrates designing all mechanical engineering systems and this includes Public Health. Having worked in all construction sectors for a wide range of clients, Kelvin is responsible for complete projects from conception through to completion and handover.
Since joining TNG in 2020, Charles has been pivotal in the delivery of many projects of all sizes and in all construction sectors. Having worked for both contractors and consultancy practices, he is able to work to all the RIBA design stages and produce feasibility and detail design information as well as working drawings and as fitted information.
Mostafa is an enthusiastic and solution-focused Mechanical Engineer who joined TNG in 2023. He seizes opportunities to embrace new technologies and ways of working and is a flexible and adaptable Engineer. Mostafa has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
Amir joined TNG in 2020 and has both a Degree (City University of London) and Master’s Degree (University College London (UCL)) in Mechanical Engineering. He also has a Master’s Degree in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University. Since joining the Company, Amir has worked on numerous design projects and is focused on gaining a breadth of practical experience utilising his Master’s level knowledge at every opportunity.
George joined TNG summer 2024 and provides support to the Senior Engineers in the Mechanical team. George already has a General Engineering Degree from Durham University, and is currently studying the Masters post-grad course at London South Bank University.
Vishal joined TNG in 2023 and provides support to the Senior Engineers in the Mechanical team. He is currently studying the HND course at London South Bank University and has already achieved some impressive results.
Tom is Technical Director at TNG and an Electrical Design Engineer specialising in the design of complex Building Services engineering systems. He joined TNG in 2002 and studied at London South Bank University. Tom is responsible for the internal delivery of projects and oversees the technical teams. He ensures that delivery is in full, in spec and always on time.
Declan joined TNG at the start of 2018 and is a reliable and knowledgeable engineer. He has a First Class BEng (Hons) Degree in Building Services Engineering. Declan is the Electrical Team Leader and he monitors project delivery within the team. He is also responsible for overseeing the development of the Junior Engineers.
Ben joined the company in 2007 and worked through college and university on a part-time basis. In 2014, he completed his studies and achieved a First-Class Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University. Ben leads large and complex schemes and always considers sustainable and energy efficient solutions.
David joined TNG in 2024 and has almost 20 years’ experience within electrical engineering systems design, which includes all stages of construction from project inception through to occupation.
During this time, Dave has amassed a depth of experience in all electrical enigneering systems.
Colin has over 30 years’ experience within Building services, and specifically Electrical Engineering systems design. He is responsible for complete projects from conception through to completion and handover, in all construction sectors. His vast experience in both the Health and Education sectors, has equipped him with the ability to work effectively in ‘live’ environments.
Helen has been working in the Building Services industry for over 15 years, and she joined the TNG team in 2024. She has worked for a variety of clients in all construction sectors and is responsible for designing and managing multiple projects through all the RIBA stages, and through to practical completion.
Robert joined TNG in 2016 and worked his way through college and university as a part-time student. He has since gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering. He now manages projects of all sizes and complexities and is a very competent and technically focused Design Engineer.
Matthew joined TNG in September 2019 after completing his A levels. Since then, Matt has been studying Building Services Engineering as a part-time student and is currently completing his Degree at London South Bank University. To support his learning, Matt has been involved in many engineering projects and is already leading his own.
Jack joined TNG in the summer on 2023 after finishing a BTEC at college. He has since started studying at London South Bank University and is currently working towards the HND qualification in Building Services Engineering. Jack is now focusing on gaining practical experience to support his studies and is working on a variety of projects under the guidance of the senior members of the Electrical team.
Gordon has more than 50 years’ experience in electrical contracting and Building Services installation, management, design and consultancy plus estate and facilities management. Based in Jersey, Channel Islands, Gordon provides Clerk of Works and Site Supervision services.
Jane joined TNG in 2006 and has progressed to the role of Client Accounts Manager within our Finance Team. Jane looks after invoicing and Client Accounts. She is also responsible for reporting on delivery against project budgets.
Sonya has been with TNG since 2007 and is our Quality Manager. She is responsible for managing and maintaining TNG’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management accreditation. Alongside this, Sonya works with the Technical Director ensuring suitable quality checks happen throughout each project.
Courtney is HR Manager and supports the HR Director. She deals with everything to do with staffing. She oversees onboarding, training, development plans and all other day to day employee needs which can be wide ranging. Courtney also looks after our in-house HR system.
Since joining TNG, Abigail has taken on responsibility for most of the HR reporting and monitoring tasks. She also manages our in-house training platform and ensures that all employee documentation is up to date.
Jemma works with the Finance team and is our Finance Assistant. She looks after all the internal systems such as timesheets, expenses and business travel, as well as any other employee related transactions.
Reporting to Russell Pitman, our Managing Director, Meg is responsible for managing and tracking all enquiries and compiling bidding documents. She also looks after our networking events and Russ’s busy diary.
Dave is our CAD Manager and he is also a Principal CAD Technician. Since joining TNG in 2006, Dave has constructed a set of exemplary CAD standards that the Team all work to. He is responsible for team development, work allocation and management level tracking of project delivery.
Lee is a Senior CAD Technician and the manager of our BIM team. Having years of design office experience, Lee has worked on numerous projects of every size and type, in all construction sectors.
As BIM Manager, Lee is responsible for managing our resources, processes, and procedures.
Having joined the company and CAD Team in 2014, Ben leads complex CAD schemes and BIM/Revit projects. He is also responsible for overseeing live BIM projects and he works closely with the design engineers to provide a fully co-ordinated package of work.
Kayleigh joined the business in 2014 and is a Senior CAD Technician and Intermediate Revit Technician. She is responsible for tracking project progress within the team and reporting on delivery to the senior management team.
Bailey is a CAD Technician and is developing his BIM/Revit capabilities. He is also responsible for overseeing the CAD standards and making sure that they reflect current mechanical and electrical system requirements.
