Project Overview
The new STEM Centre involved a comprehensive remodel and refurbishment of an existing three-story building, transforming it into a state-of-the-art Applied Arts Facility for the College. The design of the Mechanical and Electrical services aimed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
TNG’s design included a range of energy-efficient solutions, such as an external air source heat pump, high-efficiency variable speed thermal wheel ventilation, heat recovery ventilation, and low-energy LED lighting with presence and photocell sensors for optimal control.
