TNG’S Summer Give

TNG has been pleased to support both Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt Architects and UKSA charity this summer with two events that help building confidence and independence.

Firstly, TNG helped UKSA raise an incredible £12,000 for disadvantaged children in London by donating to its ‘Summer Give’ campaign. The campaign ran between 11th and 15th June and all donations were matched by the Childhood Trust and UKSA Trustees.

The money raised will enable 30 young people from George Green’s School in Tower Hamlets, and Southside Young Leaders Academy in Camberwell, to participate in a residential activity week at UKSA in August. This will help them to build confidence and life skills whilst having a summer to remember!

UKSA is an Isle of Wight based youth charity that uses watersports as a means to transform young people’s lives. The inspirational youth development and maritime training helps equip young people with new work and life skills. All the money that is raised by sponsors, fundraising and providing professional training courses goes towards creating positive change. You can find out more on The Big Give website:-

More recently, Dominic Gaunt, Design Director at ACG Architects has just completed a 5km swim from Lymington to the Isle of Wight in aid of the ‘Back Up’ charity. Along with a support boat and moral support from another swimmer, Dominic planned to make the 2-3 hour crossing avoiding the tankers, jellyfish and strong currents!

Back Up is a UK charity that offers a support network to people with spinal injuries. It provides a range of services that help build confidence and bring independence back into people’s lives. TNG was only too pleased to support Dominic from dry land and make a contribution to the very worthy charity. Well done Dominic!
