TNG Supports Erb’s Palsy Group

Erb’s Palsy Group Awareness Week

26th June – 2nd July 2017

TNG is passionate about raising awareness and supporting local charities. Even more so when they are important to one of our valued employees. BIM Manager Lee Windebank and his wife Vicki, raised our awareness of a charity that has been very close to their hearts since their son Harvey was born with Erb’s Palsy in 2015. Erb’s Palsy Group has provided them with information, guidance and support throughout Harvey’s rehabilitation.

Cooking up a Storm

In order to demonstrate our support, on Monday 26th June, we spent a flour-filled evening baking and preparing for the cake sale that commenced at 10am the next day. Along with Lee’s wife Vicki, who cooked up a storm herself, we all pulled together to offer a brilliant spread and a variety of treats for other TNG employees to purchase.

We have be known to demolish a table full of sweet and sticky treats, therefore the event was a huge success, raising £134 throughout the week for Erb’s Palsy Group. The charity was delighted with our efforts and sent TNG a letter of thanks.

Thank you to all the ‘Great TNG Bakers, Buyers and Eaters’ for contributing and devouring the fine feast.

The Erb’s Palsy Group is a UK charity providing advice and support to anyone affected by Erb’s Palsy. The charity offers extensive advice on issues such as medical treatment and state benefits. It will also put families in touch with other families affected by this condition.
