TNG Enlisted by the RNLI

TNG is honoured to provide full-duties detail design for an exciting new-build RNLI lifeboat station in Newlyn, Cornwall.

Penlee Lifeboat Station

The new building will replace the existing Penlee lifeboat station and the rescue service will operate from temporary facilities during the build.

The new 2-storey construction, designed by Studio Four Architects, shall be constructed on the existing site. It will provide much-needed additional space for the team.

RNLI Rescue Service

Once constructed, the new lifeboat station will feature large high-level windows that will help the RNLI to survey Newlyn Harbour and well beyond.

This project is due to start on site in the spring 2018, and work is already underway in our office.

We will be pleased to provide updates as the build progresses.
