Split Second Win at Karting Event

On Friday 29th June 2018, TNG partnered with WFBA Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy to hold their annual Thruxton Thrash Karting Event. The event held at Thruxton Motorsport Centre, is now in its seventh year and is as popular as ever.

SPORTING CHALLENGE

Over fifty drivers made up thirteen teams, competing on behalf of either TNG or WFBA for the ‘Sporting Challenge Cup’.

Despite the heatwave weather conditions, the teams didn’t lose their competitive streaks. In the end, the win was decided by just ‘half a second’ with the TNG team comprising Russ Pitman, Mark Maffey, Sean Cooper and Clive Evans taking first prize.

We were delighted that TNG came out on top to record a seventh victory in a row!

CHARITY EVENT

Not only do we get together to race, we also make sure we use the opportunity to raise awareness for our chosen charities.

We were delighted to raise £415.00 for two amazing causes; the Mayflower Theatre charity and The Brain Tumour charity.

For more information on both these charities, please visit the links below:-

As always, the day was a roaring success; we would like to thank all that took part and supported our charities.
