Running before they can Walk – Keisha’s Blessing

Following last year when, Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, Alex Jackson, completed the Southampton 10K run with his sisters, the siblings are now planning another extreme activity to support Keisha’s Blessing charity.

Jurassic Coast Trek

This years’ charity challenge will involve a 58K walk from Studland Bay in Dorset, to Weymouth. Alex, Natasha, Laura and Beth will set off on their Jurassic Coast trek on Saturday 7th of April, in memory of their cousin Keisha.

They anticipate the walk will take 12 hours to complete and they will be faced with some serious hills along the way.

Ker Keisha

Keisha’s Blessing charity is one of TNG’s ‘Employee Nominated’ charities. TNG shall continue to support Alex and his family throughout 2018 by helping them raise awareness.

The charity was set up to offer a free break to parents and families that have suffered a loss. Ker Keisha (meaning ‘Place of Keisha’ in Breton) is a peaceful retreat in Brittany, France. It provides space and time for families to gather the strength to move forward together.

Your Support

The Jackson family will be delighted to receive financial donations for this special charity; no matter how small. Your support would mean a lot to Alex and his sisters and will help spur them on to complete the challenge.

If you would like to make a donation, please follow the link below.

They would also be pleased if you would share some information about the charity with your families and friends. Please visit the website to find out more.

We will be pleased to post an update of their journey after the event.
