New Sailing and Water Sports Facility, Cowes, Isle of Wight

TNG is delighted to provide its consultancy services for new water sports facilities on the Isle of Wight. We will be working with UKSA, a charity that uses sailing and water sports to help transform young people’s lives.

Good Advice

UKSA has enlisted TNG to provide its consultancy services for the demolition, refurbishment and construction of new facilities at its existing site in Cowes.

We will be responsible for advising UKSA on the design and provision of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services for the project. The improved facilities are being provided as part of its Capital Development Programme.

Our commission shall comprise overseeing and supervising the installation of the engineering systems, the specification of maintenance and operating procedures, and advice on energy use and conservation. TNG shall also forecast spend using whole lifecycle techniques.

Improving Key Life Skills

The charity delivers youth programmes that focus on improving key life skills such as confidence, coping, communication and teamwork.

UKSA training courses are available to both self-funding students and young people in more difficult circumstances and each year up to 10,000 students train at UKSA. Approximately a third of these come to UKSA thanks to financial support from donors and partners.

Our team is excited to start on this important and much needed new facility. We shall keep you updated with its progress later in the year.
