TNG Academy Recruits the Next Junior Engineers

We are delighted to welcome the latest intake of Junior Engineers into our Training Academy. Sasha Neate and Rob Motson have joined our expanding Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams. They are both studying at Southampton City College on day release basis in order to gain the first stage of the required qualifications. The course includes a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment and Building Services Engineering.

Junior Engineers

Sasha, is 16 and has recently left school with 11 GCSEs. He has joined the Academy as a Junior Mechanical Engineer and follows in his father’s and grandfather’s engineering foot steps. Robert is 20 and has had a change in career. He was introduced to TNG by a colleague and patiently waited for the Junior roles to be posted.  We are so glad that he did as he starts his journey towards becoming a qualified Electrical Engineer.

With the new Juniors entering the practice, the existing Junior and Intermediate Engineers continue to advance their roles and studies. Alex Jackson is now an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer and has started the degree course at London South Bank University. Joining him in the capital, is Shannen Birks (Junior Engineer) who is enrolled on the HND course in Building Services Engineering, also at South Bank.

Training Academy

We find it so rewarding to support all the members of the Academy through their studies because they advance so quickly. We are delighted therefore, to welcome the newest tier of Juniors to the practice; it is an exciting time for them and us.  We have a strategy to nurture our own breed of TNG Engineers that share our company values and goals, and this was our motivation when we developed the Academy.  The Academy enables TNG to regularly introduce new talent, consequently providing movement and opportunity throughout the business.
