Safety Schemes in Procurement

CHAS is a founder member of the Safer Schemes in Procurement body (SSIP). SSIP aims to streamline the pre-qualification process in the construction industry and encourage simple mutual recognition between its Member schemes.

The HSE sets the core criteria to which SSIP scheme assessments are judged on. Therefore, these core criteria describe what it means for a construction business to comply with basic health and safety law.

Our Quality Manager and Operations Assistant, Sonya Spark, was instrumental in the achievement of our award. She was tasked with collating all the evidence and submitting it for assessment. She was delighted therefore, to receive the news that everything had been checked and approved, and the certificate had been issued.

Our CHAS Premium Plus certificate is available to all our Clients upon request. It is also available as a pdf download on our Policies page.
