Sustainability in Building Services Engineering

Building Services Engineering is often a unknown career option for students; unlike the more recognisable roles in Construction, such as an Architect, Structural Engineer, Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineer. It is therefore, important that TNG helps to raise awareness, as this is vitally important to our success.

We need to help make more young people aware of this important role to encourage them to pursue a career in Building Services Engineering. Hopefully, these efforts will replenish the talent pool so that companies like us, can maintain a sustainable workforce and expand our businesses.

Work Experience Placements

As some students wait for their exams results, others start thinking about their future career paths. Each year, TNG provides work experience placements to students over the summer months to help them make career decisions.

This year, Jevan Hales from Oasis Academy in Lord’s Hill, Southampton, started the ball rolling. Jevan was the first student through our front door; followed closely by Daniel Head from Hounsdown Secondary School in Totton. Tom Lush started his placement with us today and is from Barton Peveril College.
