TNG Assists with New Wind Farm

We are delighted to have been selected to provide our professional services for an exciting wind farm renewable energy scheme.

TNG has been selected to provide mechanical and electrical Design Consultancy for 2 new buildings. The buildings will provide land-based operational support to a new 84 turbine, off-shore wind farm in Scotland.

Renewable Energy

The Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd (BOWL) project, will be located in the Outer Moray Firth on the north-western point of the Smith Bank, 13.5km from the Caithness coastline. This project could provide enough energy to support over 450,000 homes.

The land-based construction is due to start this year, whilst off-shore construction will begin in 2017.  The wind farm is expected to become fully operational in 2019.

TNG is providing its expertise to Patterson Reeves and Partners, who are Consulting Civil & Structural Engineers and Building Consultants on this project.
