Environmental Management

TNG is delighted to have retained its Environmental Management Certificate.

Environmental Management Certificate

TNG recently underwent its annual Environmental Management System (EMS) inspection, which is a requirement of the ongoing certification process. The inspection was carried out by VCA, a UKAS accredited Inspection Body.

Our system met all the requirements of the standard, and as a result, no actions for improvement were identified. This positive outcome meant that following the inspection, our certificate was reissued for another 12 months.

Environmental Management System

TNG’s EMS works to IEMA’s Acorn Environmental Management System that follows BS 8555:2003. Our system is certificated to Phase 3 of the six phase standard. We have plans to progress through the remaining 3 phases of the scheme as reaching Phase 6 will provide us with an EMS comparable to the ISO 14001 standard.

Our Impact

We are a small Company and therefore, have a relatively low negative environmental impact. However, it is still important for us to manage this to the best of our ability. Furthermore, we are trusted with the environmental performance of our Clients engineering systems and estates; therefore it is only right that we can demonstrate that we manage ours as well.
