Andromeda House Student Accommodation

The Kilgraston/Andromeda House project involved the redevelopment and extension (additional floor) of an existing office building in Southampton city centre, just outside of the city’s Cultural Quarter.

Student Apartments

The redevelopment created 37 no. self-contained student apartments spread over 4 floors and has been renamed ‘Andromeda’ House.

Works included the removal and modification of the existing mechanical and electrical services at Kilgraston House in Southampton Street. The proposed work included a new heating system, domestic water services, ventilation and above ground drainage serving each of the new student accommodation flats and other communal zones. In addition, a new lighting scheme was provided along with PIR, fire alarm, intruder alarm and door entry systems.
