2017/2018 SPACES Yearbook Project
TNG is delighted that one of its projects has been featured in the 2017/2018 SPACES Yearbook.
Highcliffe St Mark Primary School‘s new £1.8M school extension, was completed in August 2016 and has subsequently been recognised in the publication. TNG provided full duties detail design for client Dorset Property, part of Dorset County Council.
In order to meet the rising demand for primary school places, further student accommodation was required at the primary school. The project involved a new 700m2 2-storey extension that included classrooms, a music studio and a food technology room.
The Yearbook illustrates best practice for the commission, design, construction, repair and maintenance of public buildings. Highcliffe St Mark School has been nominated in the Wales and South West area category. Consequently, it is now shortlisted for the Civic Building of the Year Awards.
SPACES is a collaborative multi-disciplinary organisation for people and companies in the building profession working in the public sector. It is committed to helping its members achieve the highest possible standards in the development, design, construction and management of public sector estates.
We are proud to have be included in the feature. But most of all, we are happy to have been part of the team that delivered this esteemed education facility.
